Luminoth Cosplay 1 Mask 1

My Luminoth mask so far for next years Acen. I told you...I procrastinate so its best that I start early. Anyways, this is my Luminoth mask which I created from simple materials. The skeleton of the face was made from a regular mask you would find at a craft store, I just cut it up a bit for the shape. I then used cardboard to make the structure of the face, which is then layered over with crayola clay. To give the mask the texture I gave it, I glued a layer or two of sand over the surface. Lastly, I painted it with acrylic. The feathers are just made of a thin poster board because real feathers wouldn't bend how I wanted them to. Pipe cleaners were used to bend the feathers anyway I want, as for the paint...also acrylic.

I may repaint it...so far not sure. I still need to fill the eyes with an orange lens. Anyways...yeah...
